The Sons of the Fire (Dublin)

The present day human being, in spite of all his limitations and shortcomings, has a very great future. That future comes very close when one becomes ennobled to the phase of seeker through the pre-memory. Then one becomes aware for the first time that there is a very great depth in the human being.

The Rosycross calls this memory ‘pre-rememberance’. Vaguely and almost unconsciously, very often strengthened through the sorrowful experiences in this earthly life, there is a memory of a lost homeland or fatherland. Many questions arise within us for which we can find no answers.

The future becomes reality when one has heard and answered the incessant Call to return that stems from the homeland. He can then join the ranks of the pupils of a Mystery School. The Mystery School, as the name implies, is a school where the great mysteries of mankind’s life can be solved.

In a genuine and bonafide Mystery School everything is present for this unveiling but every pupil must do this oneself, step by step in daily life. Not through exercise but through self-forgetfulness, the Wu-Wei of the Chinese philosophy, one discovers and opens up the mysteries which are within oneself.

The pupil will be safely guided back to the lost homeland and will once again be named ‘Son of the Fire’.
