Current Organisation of the LRC

 

Currently, the Lectorium Rosicrucianum has pupils and members in 70 countries, including many countries in Europe, South America,  North America, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. The head office of the international organization is located in Haarlem, The Netherlands.

 

After the death of the spiritual leaders Jan van Rijckenborgh (1968) and Catharose de Petri  (1990), the LRC is now guided by the International Spiritual Directorate, supported by seven Presidia. The Presidia are in turn supported by national boards and advisory councils as well as many working groups.

 

The Lectorium Rosicrucianum is a self-supporting and non-profit organization without any economic interest, funded entirely by contributions, donations and legacies from its pupils and members and without any assistance or subsidies from the state. The monthly fees are kept at a minimum level. Entrance into the organization as member is possible after an orientation phase in which the completion of a free orientation course is requested. Membership can be applied for in person or by written request and at a minimum age of 18 years.

 

Pupils and members receive the bi-monthly magazine “Pentagram”.

 

If one decides to leave the International School of the Golden Rosycross, an informal letter is sufficient.

 

Conference locations and City Centers.

 

The international School of the Golden Rosycross operates more than 60 conference locations worldwide as meeting places for larger spiritual activities which take place on weekends. Administrations for the regions are usually located at these conference centers.

Furthermore, in many larger cities there are centers of the Lectorium Rosicrucianum in which pupils, members and interested people regularly meet for different activities. Worldwide there are more than 200 such centers in 70 countries.

Foundations and Publishing Houses

 

Besides the organization of the International School of the Golden Rosycross, Lectorium Rosicrucianum, there are independent foundations active in several countries supporting the spread of the Rosicrucian, Hermetic and Gnostic teachings.

These foundations organize symposiums and lectures in co-operation with other spiritual organizations and experts from science, arts and public life.

​

The literature of the founders of the Lectorium Rosicrucianum, as well as writings of other historical or current spiritual teachers are published in many languages by LRC’s own publishing houses in several countries throughout the world.
